Monique Nicole Graves' Obituary
Monique Graves, 43, of Columbia, slept into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia.
Monique Nicole Graves "AKA" Nikki" was born on January 5, 1974 in Moberly, MO. She is the eldest child of Perry J. Washington and Daryl A. Sheley, and deceased dad Tommy Washington.
She spent most of her childhood in Gunnison, MS. There she learned all of her skills of "Southern Hospitality", which consists of Down Home Cooking and being respectful with her captivating people skills of everyone she meets.
Leaving to cherish her beautiful memories are her three children, one son D'Andre K. Graves of Jefferson City, MO., two daughters Ariyawn D. Nash and Amari D. Nash of Columbia, MO. her mother Perry Washington and her father Daryl Sheley, four sisters, Jasmine S. Washington, Darlicia Wilkerson, Jennifer Hall and Christine Stapleton, one brother Daryl Sheley Jr. of Kansas City, MO., her grandmother Helen Sheley of Columbia, MO., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend Tony Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her sister Tiffany A. Graves, one brother Tommy L. Graves, and her grandmothers Barbara Johnson and Annabelle Washington and her aunt Myra Sheley.
