Michael Eugene Kelly, of Bunceton, Missouri, passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 30, 1960, to Cecil and Jacqueline Williams, Michael lived a life defined by simple joys, quiet strength, and a genuine heart that touched everyone who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the H.T May and Sons Funeral Home, visitation will be from 1-2PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Michael attended Bunceton High School and carried deep pride in his hometown throughout his life. He loved detailing cars—a skill he mastered with passion and care. With a natural gift for making vehicles shine, he took great pride in each one he touched. For Michael, detailing was more than a skill; it brought him peace, purpose, and true happiness.
He enjoyed the everyday things that kept him grounded: washing cars, playing pool, and listening to music that spoke to his spirit. These simple pleasures reflected the man he was—calm, steady, honest, and true to himself.
Michael is survived by his children: his son, Michael Roland (Janisha) of Columbia, Missouri, and his daughter, Latara Warrick (Nate) of Kansas City, Missouri. He was a proud grandfather to Anthony, Alizah, Saniya, Jaylen, and Khyre, and a loving great-grandfather to Khalani Jhene.
He is also survived by his sisters Cecelia Gaines, Dinetta Kelly, Linda Williams, Cynthia Johnson, and Marsha Williams, along with several nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly and will forever hold his memory close.
Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Sheri Williams, his nephew, Johnathan Kee, and his parents, Cecil and Jacqueline Williams.
To know Michael was to know someone humble, genuine, and steady. His gentle spirit and love for the simple things will continue to live on through the stories, memories, and love shared by all who knew him.
