Thinking of you all and wishing you comfort and healing as you grieve your loss of Meta. Meta and Mel were great people and I am fortunate to have had the pleasure of receiving them into a period of my life as Mel guided myself and others to form the Iota Mu chapter of Theta Chi at Mizzou.
A few years back, Meta gifted me a metal Nambe bowl. It is fitting that I eventually ended up moving to New Mexico, bringing that bowl with me from Missouri back to its birth place. I use the bowl daily to hold my keys and I think of Meta and Mel. I will continue to remember Meta and the kindness she showed me in our interactions.
