To the Dixon and Hawkin family: My brother Charles and I wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers as you celebrate the life of Mrs. Maxine Dixon. We both have many fond memories of growing up on Cooper street with her and her family. One thing I remember most is Mrs. Maxine cooking up a pot of something that always smelled so very good. I also remember her laugh and caring spirit. I’m so sorry we cannot be there with you today but we are with you in spirit. Denise, Dwight, and my classmate Anthony, we love you and we sympathize with you. Losing a mom is so very hard, but I know she wants you to carry on and live knowing she had a good life and is going to eternal live where the celebrating never ends. God bless you.
