Mary Carter White's Obituary
Mary Carter White, 70, of Columbia Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Columbia at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church on Thursday. A repast will be held at St. Paul AME Church.
Mary was born December 12, 1951, in Columbia, MO, the daughter of Thomas Carter Jr. and Etta Sheley Carter. She was a faithful member of the Oak Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Mary was certainly a Queen in her home lovingly taken care of by her husband Burnis (Bob). She was an outgoing person who never met a stranger, and she didn't have a bad bone in her body. She cherished all of her friends and she loved spending time with her family. She also loved to dance.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Burnis "Bob" White, four children Signora Carter, Dany Lee Miller (Darlene), Tondelaya Carter (Curtis), and Jennifer Harper (Joe), Robert Prince, Thomas Carter (La Vonda), Bryan Carter (Chrissy), Randy Carter (Lillian), two sisters Rev. Sandy Oliver and Linda Wright (Crow), eleven grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren., three brother in laws, Raymond (Montra), White, Norman (Crystal) White, and Ron (Robin) White.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Etta Carter, one sister Betty Sue Tate, one brother David Carter and one grandson TImothy Wright Jr.
