Mark McClain, 59, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital. Arrangements are pending.
Mark G. Mcclain, affectionately known as "Lucky," was born on July 20, 1966, in Portageville, MI to Joann Yancey and Charlie Mcintosh, entered eternal peace on June 14, 2026, at the age of 59.
Mark was a quiet, funny, and kind-hearted man who preferred to stay out of the spotlight. He was never the life of the party and never Bothered anyone. He was known for his sense Of humor, his laid-back personality, and theLove he had for his family. Mark had a special Way of making people laugh and brought joy To those around him. Above all else, mark Cherished his children and grandchildren, Who brought him immense joy and pride. His Family was his greatest treasure and brought Him endless happiness. Mark will be Remembered for his strength, laughter, and The love he shared with those closest to him. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his memory will live on in the Hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother, Joann Yancey; his children and Grandchildren: Shawn Turner (Zarian And Kieran Simpson, Kimora Turner, Malachi McClain, and Messiah Turner); Latonya Turner (Lamon'ye Davis); Monique Turner (Christopher Jr. And Christiana Brown); Jasmine Edwards (Ni' Jai and Ni’Lah Cross, and Jai'lah Matthews); and Markquetta McClain. He Also leaves his brother, Wilbert Mcclain; aunts; uncles; a host of Cousins; and friends who will continue To honor his legacy and keep his Memory alive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie mcintosh; his grandmother, Jeffella McClain; his beloved Grandson, Zarian Turner; and a host of Cherished aunts and uncles.
Though our hearts are broken by his Passing, we find comfort in knowing That his love will remain with us Always. Mark's life was a gift to those Who knew him, and while he may be gone From our sight, he will never be gone From our hearts.
