Marion Cravens Jr.'s Obituary
Marion Cravens Jr., 74, of New Franklin, MO, formerly of Fayette, MO, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 27, 2024. Services to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Boonville, with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Born on July 20, 1950, in Fayette, MO, Marion was the beloved son of Marion Cravens Sr. and Anna Sue Paige Cravens. He dedicated his career to caring for others as a registered nurse at Riverdell Care Center. Marion was known for his love of fishing, cooking, and sharing meals with loved ones. His passion for fitness and spending time at the gym with the love of his life, Sherri, was a big part of who he was.
Marion leaves to cherish his memory his devoted companion, Sherri Nowlin of the home, and his children, Anastasia Cravens of Henderson, NV, Jeff Nowlin (Megan) of Boonville, MO, Brandon Nowlin (Molly) of New Franklin, MO, Chris Nowlin of Boonville, MO, and Madison Watson (Isaac Burns) of Columbia, MO. , his siblings Carolyn Cravens, Cindy Cravens and Eric Cravens, He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, William and Dominique Cravens, Mylah, Axton, Harley, Wrenlee, Trevin, Mason, and Corbin.
Marion’s kind heart, love for family, and joy for life will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
