Margaret M. Wilson's Obituary
Margaret Mae Wilson, 95, of Columbia slept into the arms of Jesus on Saturday March 29, 2014 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm Saturday at the church. The public is invited to the O.E.S. services that will be held from 6-6:30 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia.
Margaret Wilson was born on June 16, 1918 in Stephens, Mo. the daughter of Willie and Mary E. Clark Walker. She was united in marriage on June 21, 1938 to Egbert W. Wilson Sr. in Fulton, Mo. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and a member of St. Luke CWU and Church Women United. She was employed for 32 years at the University of Missouri as a Food Service Cook and later as a Food Service Supervisor retiring in August 1980. Several years after retirement she was employed by the Columbia Public Schools at several schools as a Substitute Cafeteria Worker.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Mevagene Wilson of Columbia, One son Egbert W. Wilson Jr.(Melva) of Seattle, Wa., five grandchildren Derrick, Kenrick, Billie, Desmond & Demetrious, one great granddaughter Ryliee, four nieces, several cousins and many friends.
