Maressa Marie was both Jamesetta’s and Theodore’s first-born child. Maressa nicknamed Ressie was a beautiful bundle of joy and a great asset to her family. Raised up on park street and Moore walkway. Ressie grew to be a quiet lovable little girl with a humble spirit and kind heart which followed her throughout all the days of her life.
Maressa’s nickname was Fat Pat in her teenage years, she was known for her playful attitude, tough demeanor, nonchalant cool behavior and no-nonsense personality. As Ressie matured and became an adult she quickly developed into a sexy, smart, sassy, funny, unforgettable one of a kind young lady equipped with hustle, class, with a spirit of strength and determination.
As a young adult Maressa often enjoyed going out, traveling, making money and spending time with close friends and family. But in 1995 Maressa’s life changed forever when she brought her first love Mahajanae Waynesha Prince into the world. From that moment of her life, it would become all about her daughter. A few years later December 14th, 1998, her second love came along, she named her Miajon Allen. On December 19th, 2015, Ressie’s heart would melt and be filled with joy by
the birth of her granddaughter Mckenhli Green, who instantly became the center of her life. She loved her some Tootie. Maressa was always an awesome Naune to her grandbaby and mother to her children she took pride in sacrificing everything
to make sure they never had to want or ask for anything. Ressie Pee loved to lift her family and friends with her bright smile brown eyes and lure them in with her infectious laugh. Anyone that knows Ressie knows she had the best hugs and a warm motherly embrace you just could not ignore. She would hold you real tight and kiss you on the cheek and say I love you.
Maressa had a warrior spirit; she never gave up or changed; she always remained the same. Always loyal, honest, trustworthy and loving. She was always strong, independent, caring, and charismatic person who you could call on for help,
advice, or just to lend an ear.
