Born on September 4, 1961, in Poplar Bluff, MO, Lynnette was the cherished daughter of the late John L. Jefferson of Rocheport, MO, and Jeanette L. Harris Jefferson of Charleston, MO. She spent her formative years in Columbia growing up on Fifth St, Park Avenue, and Paris Rd where she developed lifelong friendships, a deep love for her community, and a strong sense of purpose that guided her throughout her life. She
graduated from Columbia Hickman High School in 1979 and went on to attend Florida A&M University. Lynette received certificates in Biblical Studies from Oral Roberts University and Victory Church both in Tulsa OK. She worked for the cable company for over seventeen years here in Columbia MO, then moved to Tulsa OK where she was an “All Star” performer in collections.
