Louella F. Frazier's Obituary
Louella Frazier, 83 of Sedalia slept into the arms of Jesus on Friday October 18, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 26, 2013 at 1 pm at First Baptist Church in Sedalia. The visitation will be held from 12-1 pm at the church.
Louella Frances Smith Frazier was born in Pleasant Green Missouri to James and Bertha Viola Lewis Smith. The family moved to Sedalia from Smithton in 1942.
She attended Hubbard School. In 1946 she married Virgil Frazier who proceeded her in death in 1986.From that union 7 children were born: Joyce Frazier , Harold Frazier, (Estella), Diane Maupin, Connie Hankins, Teresa Frazier, (Donnie), Michael Frazier, and Darryl Frazier, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a stay at home mom until she worked at Lamy’s for 25 years. After retiring she worked as a nurturer to many of Sedalia’s youngsters, black and white, ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years and older. She was determined to keep family close by sharing Sunday and Holiday dinners. She did this until the last Sunday of her life.
She was preceded in death by their mother and father and 5 sisters. She leaves behind one brother Kenneth Smith.
