Lois May Shirley's Obituary
In Loving Memory, Lois A Shirley, who peacefully departed this life on July 5, 2021, at age 82, lived in Gilbert Az. She was born and raised in Boonville, Mo.
Parents, James M. May and Pauline D. May – Alexander, her brothers James M. May, Jr., and Frank A May, Grandson Charles A Shirley II and Arthur J Timley, and granddaughter Tanisha R Byers preceded her in death.
She attended Sumner high school in Boonville Mo, she married Charles Shirley. She worked as nurse’s aide, she moved to Kansas City MO 1963. Lois career path she found employment at Baptist Memorial Hospital as LPN. Later she pursued her higher education at UMKC of Kansas City MO earning her Bachelor and Master’s degree in Nursing. Lois became a Register Nurse, retiring in 2000, after 40 years of service from Baptist Memorial Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Belva May Byers, Charles A Shirley, Kim R. Shirley. 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 1 Great greatgrandchild. Host of nieces and nephews.
