Logan Hutton's Obituary
Logan Hutton, 78, of Moberly, peacefully passed away on October 31, 2018 at the Riverdell Care Center in Boonville, MO.
Logan was born on March 30, 1940 in Ventura, CA to Alva and Lucy Hutton. He was the oldest of 5 siblings. He proudly served our country as a member of the United States Navy on the USS Triton. He married Shirley Dunlap in November 1967 and they had one son, John Hutton. Logan and Shirley parted ways four years later. He married virginia Kribbs in October 1977 and they had two daughters, Crystal and Amanda. Logan enjoyed working with his hands and helping his foster parents, Paul and Ellene Coffman, on their farm. Later in life he spent many hours reading and completing fill-in puzzles and never knew a stranger. He loved his children and grandsons very much and would brag about them to anyone who wanted to listen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Lucy Hutton, his foster parents, Paul and Ellene Coffman, brother Howard Hutton, sister, Rozella Hutton, foster sister, Clara Derboven, ex-wife Shirley, wife Virginia and grandsons Adam Hutton and Johnathon Hutton.
He is survived by his son, John Hutton of Springdale, AR, daughter, Crystal Hutton Hult and her husband Dennis of Boonville, MO, daughter, Amanda Hutton of Moberly, grandsons, William and Trevor Hutton of Springdale and Adam and Robert Hult of Boonville, MO. Brothers, Thomas Hutton and his wife Patricia of Republic, MO, and Bill and Joe Sears, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service for Logan will be held at the First Assembly of God church in Moberly, MO on Saturday, November 10 at 1 pm. All are invited to attend. Logan will be interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO by his children and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are requested by the family to the Central Missouri Honor Flight or the Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. He will be greatly missed.
