Linda Miller's Obituary
Linda Dee Miller, 78, was born May 29, 1943 in Bloomington, IL to Lawrence E. Nettleton and Virginia (Lucy) Carter Nettleton. Linda graduated from Wichita High School East in 1962, married Joseph A. Miller on May 8, 1992, and retired from Space Center, Kansas City, MO in 2006. She traveled around the world with her beloved husband, was an avid reader, was active in a local book club, member of a prayer shawl crochet group, and was a ten year volunteer for Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care.
Linda passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at McCrite Plaza at Briarcliff in Kansas City, MO. She is survived by her sister Lois Kiefer of North Kansas City, MO; nieces Meighan (Jason) Ott of Olathe, KS and Maggie (Jeremy) Hurla of Shawnee, KS; nephew Mat Kiefer of Kansas City, MO; and great nieces Rachel and Lauren Ott and Audrey and Elise Hurla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, both of her parents and brothers Barry Lee, Larry, and Lynn Nettleton.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery in Tipton, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Boonslick Regional Library, 219 W. 3rd St., Sedalia, MO 65301. Designate "Boonville Location" on check.
Arrangements are under the direction of H.T. May & Son Funeral Home in Boonville.
