Linda Jo Clark's Obituary
Linda J. Clark, 67, of Columbia, MO. was escorted by the Angels into Heaven on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at William C. Harris Funeral Home in St. Louis at 9:00 AM. There will be no visitation.
Linda Jo Clark was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on August 5, 1950 to the union of Cloud Rainwater Edwards and Dora Edwards. Linda was one of 12 children from her mother’s and father’s side. Lin Lin as she was affectionately called was preceded in death by her two sisters Stephanie and Brenda Edwards, three brothers Jerry, Jim and Kenneth “Butch” Edwards, and loving husband Charles “June” Clark. She made her transition in this life on Monday, November 6th, 2017 at 67 years old.
Linda accepted Christ in her life in the early 50s. She attended Vashon High School and graduated in 1968. In 1988, 16 years and three beautiful kids later, Linda married her long term sweetheart Charles Clark. She had a passion for cooking and some would even say that she was the best. Some of her hobbies included playing cards, listening to the oldies, and having an occasional sip or two of Canadian Mist.
Linda was a caring and generous woman who loved her family dearly. She was a loving mother and an even more devoted grandmother to her all of her grandchildren.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory: her three sisters Peggy, Jacquline, and Pamela Edwards; four brothers Charles, Michael, Gregory, and Jeffrey Edwards; five children William, Charles, Demetrius, Nathaniel, and Sonia Edwards; twenty grandchildren Demetrius, Latrice, Abria, Daniel, Monique, Nathaniel, Christine, Shaheed, Ashley, Charles, Chris, Damarius, Mezzie, Malik, Nicholas, Yohance, Hannah, Marcia, DeeShay, Shayla, and Miles Edwards, and a host of loved ones.
