Terry Leon Butler's Obituary
Terry Leon Butler, 82, of Marshall, MO., passed away on Sunday August 13, 2017 at Cape Fear Hospice House in Wilmington, North Carolina. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Fairview Cemetery in Marshall, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Marshall.
Born August 17, 1934 to Ella Mornett Williams and Richard Robert Butler in Pennytown Missouri and died in Wilmington NC at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center on 13 Aug 2017.
Leon was a lifelong resident of Marshall Mo and farmer and truck driver his entire adult life. He is preceded in death by his Wife Vinnie (Bruner) Butler, His mother and father, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, 1 son, 3 daughters and 2 grandsons.
He is survived by 1 brother Lawrence Butler of Marshall MO, 4 sons Terry and Kenneth Butler of Columbia Mo, Michael Baker of Aurora IL, and Matthew Buford of Charleston SC, 6 daughters Christine Butler of Raytown Mo, Faleesha (Christopher) Pilats and Daneesha Baker of Jacksonville NC, Bobbie Lowther (Jody) of Charleston SC, Virginia Baker (Hakiem) of Kansas City MO, and Marion Henderson of Scottsdale AZ, 33 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
