To the Family of Ms . May: She was my favorite teacher at Lincoln Public School in Fayette. When I think of her, I remember she had the whitest teeth, the most beautiful smile, AND her hair moved when she moved her head. [At that time, our hair stayed “in place” all day and night; I use to wonder How does she make her hair move?] I really admired her; always had a smile for her students, no favorites, treated everyone the same. A True, Strong Woman of “Color” with so much Grace. My heart was heavy, but then I knew that she is in Heaven, directing a choir of Angels, flashing that Beautiful Smile with her “bouncy” hair. I am so grateful that I knew her. BLESSINGS and PRAYERS to the Family and THANK YOU Ms. May.
