LaTanya Harvey's Obituary
Latanya Harvey, 33, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 21, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia at 4:00 PM. The visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 PM on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
LaTanya Roshall Harvey was born on January 24, 1981 in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of James Edward Young Sr. and Rochelle F. Harvey. LaTanya also had an honorary father Tyrone Tony Parrish Sr.
Latanya attended Van Horn High School in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of Restoration of Life Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Melvin Stapleton II. AS a member of Restoration of Life ministries Latanya enjoyed singing in the choir, serving on the usher board and teaching Sunday School. She had a bubbly personality, who never took anything to heart and always forgave everyone. LaTanya always had a smile on her face without a worry in the world.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Ziera Harvey and Zavion Harvey of Columbia, MO. her mother Roshall Harvery(Clarence Holmes Sr.) of Columbia, Mo., her Father James E. Young Of Kansas City, Mo., Maternal Grandmother Gloria Harvey of Kansas City, Mo., maternal Grandfather Robert Smith of Kansas City, Mo., siblings Tyshella Harvey of COlumbia, Mo., Tyrone Parrish Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., Tywon Parrish of Columbia, Mo., Michael Onwulta Jr. of Columbia, Mo., Nasha’e Prince of Columbia, Mo., Aliyah Harvey of Columbia, Mo., Nakisha Eubanks of Kansas City, Mo. and Antione Young , nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, and many friends. A god brother Reginald Judge. Lantanya was preceded in death by her grandparents and a cousin Edward Harvey.
