Larry Boone's Obituary
Larry Boone, 58, of Kansas City, formerly of Fayette, Mo., passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2 PM at Linn Memorial Methodist Church in Fayette. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM at the church on Saturday.
Larry Eugene Boone departed this life Monday, January 22, 2018 in Kansas City. MO. He was 58 years of age.
Larry was born March 27, 1959 to the late Virginia Boone Crutchfield and Kenneth Broadus in Fayette, MO. He was a member of Willis Chapel AME Church in Kansas City, MO.
Larry graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, MO. After graduating he joined the Army and served for four years. After the Army he returned to Columbia, MO. He worked at the Harry S Truman VA Hospital for a number of years.
Larry had a strong faith and love for God. He knew everything about anything. He knew exactly what to say. He loved spending time with family. Wherever he was, he was the life of the party. He loved exercising, reading, drinking coffee and playing spades. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Larry leaves to mourn his passing his father: Kenneth Broadus (Doris), Columbia. MO. Stepfather Allen Crutchfield, Kansas City MO. William and Ella Tooley, Kansas City, MO. Two daughters: Shaunice and Latreece Estes of Kansas City, MO. Stepdaughter Takela Estes of Overland Park, KS. Brothers and Sisters: Quincelia McCuiston (Frank) of Grain Valley, MO. Renetta Antwine (Mark) of Raytown, MO. Varness Broadus of Texas. Kenneth Broadus Jr. Of Columbia, MO, Tim Harris (Tessa) of Poplar Bluff, MO. Cecil Tooley (Angela). Harold Tooley (Eunice) of Lee’s Summit, MO. Tyrone Smith (Chantell) of Blue Springs, MO. Mary Tooley of Kansas City, MO and Phyllis Smith of Omaha, NE. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother Virginia Crutchfield, grandmother Mable Boone, grandfather Leon Boone. Fraternal grandmother Grace Broadus and fraternal grandfather William Powell.
