Katheryn Marchita Johnson's Obituary
Katheryn Marchita Johnson, 69, of Marshall, MO., passed into eternity on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Fitzgibbon Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Powerhouse Ministries in Marshall at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM Saturday at the church.
Katheryn Johnson was born on March 26, 1949, to Ness Lawrence and Mary Banks in Marshall, Missouri. She was a member of Powerhouse Ministries.
Katheryn lived most of her life in Marshall as she raised her three children Chico, Carmen & Mundang. She worked at Saline County Rest home for 17 years. Katheryn was a well known entity throughout the Marshall community. She always had a bright smile for all that knew her regardless of her circumstances. She enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and being with her grandchildren. Through out the midst of her victories, trials and tribulations, she was like a priceless Timex that kept on ticking. She will be greatly missed by many!
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Chico Johnson of Marshall, Missouri, Carmen Johnson of Raytown, Missouri, and Mundang Johnson of Texarkana, Texas. She also leaves her mother Mary Opal Banks, brother Azeezuddin Kasim, sister Meri Alice Banks all of Marshall, 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
