Junior Ladurley Clay, age 49, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was born to Almeda Bessie Clay, who preceded him in death, and his father, Junior Brown.
Junior had a remarkable talent for bringing joy to every gathering, often captivating others with his engaging stories. He possessed a heart of gold and embraced the role of a devoted son, embodying the love and affection that comes with being a mother's boy.
As a dedicated father, Junior lived life on his own terms, remaining steadfast in his love and support for those dear to him. Though he may no longer be with us, his memories will forever remain in our hearts. While we grieve his absence, let us find solace in the knowledge that he has been reunited with those he cherished in heaven.
Junior maintained a profound relationship with the Lord throughout his life. He is survived by his sons, Zevon, Jumez, and Treston; his sister Monique, who preceded him in death; his sister Vonda of Sedalia; his brother Ronald; his lifelong friend Lawanda; the mother of his children, Stephanie; a host of nieces, nephews, several cousins, and numerous friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing the truly caring man that was Ladurley Clay.
