Judy Barnhart, 62, of Boonville, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Firm Foundation Church, visitation will be from 1-2PM Saturday at the church.
Judy Lee Barnhart, 63, of Boonville, MO passed away at University of MO Hospital the evening of March 2, 2025. Judy was born to the late Gary and Francis Gamel, February 19, 1962 in Springfield, MO. Judy managed Black Oaks Community for about eight years but prior to that, Judy was a stay at home mom which she enjoyed more than anything. She married Donald Barnhart, Jr on July 24, 1982. Judy loved crafting, spending time with her son and daughter in law, reminiscing about the good ol’ days, and loving on her 3 beloved dogs and spent many enjoyable hours with them.
Judy is survived by her husband; Donnie of Boonville, son Michael Barnhart (Kim) of Boonville, brother Scott Gamel (Valerie) of Boonville, sister Cherie Miller (Jay) of Louisville, KY, nieces and nephews Courtney, Garrett, Brayden, Avry Claire, Jayden, Courtney, Christopher, Erica, Kelsey, Daniel, Zachary, Elizabeth, John, Cody and numerous cousins.
Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Gary and Francis Gamel, foster brother Scott Reynolds, and niece Adley Rose Miller.
Judy had a great love for her family, especially her son, Michael and his wife, Kim, and loved spending time with and absolutely adored her grandpup Ebbie. She was immensely proud of her son.

Memorials are suggested to Michael Barnhart to defray funeral expenses.
