Joyce Ganaway's Obituary
Joyce Ganaway, 71, of Slater, MO, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Riverdale Care Center. Services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at The Gathering Place in Slater, Missouri at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Gathering Place.
Joyce Ganaway was born March 14, 1953, the daughter of Zeona Parker and Iola Washington Parker. She was a long time member of the St. Paul Baptist Church. She retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center in Marshall after many years as the supervisor of the housekeeping department. Some of her favorite things to do was to go shopping and to watch her Kansas City Chiefs.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Delbert Ganaway, four children Anthony Blake of Slater, MO, Chad Ganaway of Columbia, MO and Cedric Ganaway of Columbia, MO and Brandon Terrill of Slater, MO, one special niece Natalie McKee (David) of Boonville, MO, nine grandchildren McKenzie Jenkins, Devin Ganaway, Kobe Ganaway, Bronx Ganaway, Nicholas Terrill, Brandon Terrill Jr., Jakorie Terrill, Keyanna Terrill and Emmersyn Terrill, one sister in law Julia Chess, a special cousin Alice Pettigrew, her special friends Alberta Jackson, Wanda Roland, Tammy Jenkins and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, her grandparents, one son Colby Ganaway and her grandson Colby Cornell Ganaway.
