Joseph Taylor's Obituary
Joseph Taylor, 17, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12-1 Pm Saturday at the church.
Joseph Valentino Taylor was born June 5, 2002 to Tessie Renee Taylor in Memphis TN at Methodist South Hospital. Joseph accepted Christ into his life at an early age.
He lived in Memphis for 15 years and attended school there until he relocated to Columbia MO in 2016 where he attended Battle High School.
He loved to crack jokes, talk smack and prank any and every- one with his cousin and best friend Gerrod Taylor. His smile and happy energy will be truly missed.
Joseph leaves behind to live on in his memory two sisters; Jatoya Ida Ward and Brishona Cashmere Taylor, one niece; Janari Jennings and one nephew; Johnathan Jennings Jr.
Two Aunts; PJ Denise Taylor and Crystal Andrea Taylor- Tutwiler/Barry Tutwiler, Two Uncles; D’Angelo D. Hughes and DeQuan D. Hughes, Two Great Aunts; Ida Sheree Alexander and Margaret Fradiue/Uncle Ronnie Taylor and a host of cousins and friends to share his love.
Joseph is joined at the gates by his angels; Tessie Taylor, Katrina Taylor, Christopher Hughes, Christopher Hughes Jr., Joyce Hughes, Peggy Alexander, and Roylee Alexander.
Each and every one off you were God's gift to us. Now we have another angel to watch over us. We truly miss you all. May your souls continue to REST IN PEACE.
