John A. Linville's Obituary
John A. Linville, 74, of Boonville, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
John A. Linville was born March 7, 1949, in Breckenridge, MO the son of Lawrence Ray Linville and Alice Sophia Rhine Linville. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving on the USS Enterprise and the USS Cayuga. He was a radio operator serving in the Viet Nam War.
John was a member of the Firm Foundation Church for many years. He was a Foster Grandfather to many children in the Boonville, MO. area. He was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan as well as a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved peanut butter and ice cream.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ella Linville of the home, two sons Sean Ray Linville and Donald Lee Linville (Michelle) and their daughters Sophia and Kai, three brothers Larry Linville (Thelma), Jim Linville and David Linville, his stepsons Terry Lee Foyil Jr. (Whitney Suzanne), Samuel Jonathan Cliver and his son Brody Cliver and his stepdaughter Michelle Renee Baker and Raylene Marie Baker and his stepdaughter Abigail Rebecca Beckerdite.
