Jerry was surrounded by his loving mother Nanette, his brothers Christopher, Gary Lewis, his sister Danielle and close family friend Tim Johnson on April 13, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
Jerry always had an impact on the people he met, he was kind, loving, caring, funny, and fair. He always helped anyone in any way that he could. Jerry was someone you could talk to, no matter what, he would somehow make you feel better and make you laugh.
Jerry loved collecting knifes and survival gear, he was so ready doe a zombie breakout and was ready to protect his loved ones. Jerry loved to fish and camp. If he could have, he would have lived in the woods just like Grizzly Adams. He was always waiting on the big one when he went fishing. Jerry’s motto was life is too short to be angry or unhappy, and he believed nothing happened by chance, everything has a reason. We called Jerry Mr. Tinker because he was always trying to invent something or fix something.
Even in Jerry’s battle with cancer he found a way to be strong and kept everyone in high spirits. He would tell us all to keep our faith and be strong.
Jerry’s work here on Earth has been fulfilled and he has done what God put him here to do. Jerry has touched the lives of so many people in so many ways, and now God has called Jerry home to be with him. Until we all meet again rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord God, you are at peace and at home our sweet sweet angel.
