Jack was born July 9, 1946, the son of Alfred and Marjorie West. Jack was an incredibly loving husband, father, papa, great papa, brother and uncle to many people. Jack was a very hard-working man. He worked at a lumber yard in Boonville as a young adult and also worked at the Missouri Training School for Boys for a few years. He worked for over thirty years at Stevens TV and Appliance. If you had the pleasure of meeting him you knew he loved to fix many things and to help people anyway that he could. Words can not describe the amount of care and concern he had for others. He was a very caring, selfless and generous man. He married Leonda West 39 years ago and she survives of the home.
His grandkids always held a very special place in his heart. He made sue each one of them knew the Lord and frequently talked to them about the Lord. He loved to spend time with them out in the garden and do yard work as well. Jack also loved to tell a good joke. He loved to laugh and loved to make others laugh. He was an overall amazing human being. He will be greatly missed by all.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Leonda West of the home, one son Jack West Jr. of Boonville, MO, one daughter Deanna Offineer of Boonville, MO, grandkids Dakota West, Chloe West, Gaige Offineer, Tristan Offineer, RyLee West, Greyson West, three great grandkids, and five brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Marjorie West, an infant daughter Pamela West and four siblings.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
