I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember going to Miss Itha’s house when I moved to Clinton many, many years ago. I always thought she was so pretty and enjoyed talking to her. She was a sweet lady. My deepest condolences to her family.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I do know that the angels are singing in heaven as another “Mother” goes home to be with the Lord. I am sorry for your loss. There is a scripture that comes to mind about your mother. She had longevity, that is a wonderful thing. At Psalms 90:10 it says this, “In themselves the days of our years are seventy years, and if because of special mightiness they are eighty years. Yes their insistence is on trouble and hurtful things, for it must quickly pass by, and away we fly.” So Ms. Hicks had special mightiness. Jehovah God kept his loving arms around her for 91 years. She has the prospect of living forever, when Jesus Christ will raise her back to life here on the earth. What a wonderful hope that our creator Jehovah has given you and Ms. Hicks. May Jehovah God continue to be with and strenghten your family durinig these trialsome times.
I was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Cousin Itha. You all know how we all loved her for her kindness to my Brother Butch and I when we visited Clinton every summer. Her welcome was always generous and sincere.
