Issac Lee Hollis' Obituary
Issac (Ike) Lee Hollis passed away March 5, 2015 at University of Missouri HealthCare, Columbia, MO. He was born on February 3, 1952 in Heth, Arkansas to Willie Lee Hollis and Annie Mae Jones.
Ike grew up in Greenwood Mississippi and later moved to Columbia, Mo. where he lived and worked for University of Missouri HealthCare retiring after 39 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family hosting BBQ’s and family reunions.
Ike graduated from high school, took multiple continuing education courses and became a commissioned officer while working in Security for University of Missouri HealthCare.
He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory, son Darren(Karen) Hollis and daughter Tiffany Hollis and their mother Joyce Hollis. Significant other Becky Hassinger and daughter Maggie Hassinger. Brothers Calvin Hollis Sr. (Bobbie Jean), Aaron McClee (Regina), Mezerl McClee, Preston McClee (Jacqueline), Marshal Henley, Virgil Horn. Sisters Willie Carter (Jimmy), Lowis Hollis, Anoctavia Otis (Michael), Verscine McClee, Carolyn Davis (Mike), Brigdet Jones. Grandchildren Keenan Hawkins, Issac Hollis, Kylee Hollis, Cameron Jensen, Corey Fugate, Kaylie Fugate, Mariah Hollis and Ka’Mayah Hollis all of Columbia, MO. Four great grandchildren Keenan Hawkins Jr., Kayden Hawkins and Keii’moneii Hawkins and great uncle Joshua Haynes. And a host of cousins, nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Issac Lee Hollis II, parents Willie Lee Hollis and Annie Mae Jones, grandparents Nettie Hawkins and Emma Anderson, brothers Thomas Hollis and Jimmie Hollis, aunts Annie Payton and Rosie Bohanon and niece Brenda Hollis.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at H. T. May & Son Funeral Home, 2007 Holly Avenue, Columbia, MO. The funeral will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Rock Bridge Cemetery.
