"To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD" 2 Corinthians 5:8 Ira Steve Williams (affectionately known as Lightnin’ to family and close friends) stepped into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 20 Read Obituary

My sincere condolences for the loss of Lightening. A man of few words and a hard worker. Praying for the Williams family.

I miss uncle Lightening, he was always such a wonderful giving person. He loved to come over and help me out in whatever task I was doing in my yard, I would hear the clack clack of someone coming down the street and I would smile, because I knew it was him and his boots. I will always remember all of the wonderful memories and moments that make me smile with stories of my life with uncle Lightening. Tareva and I visited him often at the Fayette Caring Center when he moved there, this is one of the pictures we took. Until we meet again, RIH.💕🥰💕
Growing up in Fayette I can remember My dad Dallas and my mom Lillie Mae in the summer always in the hay field along with the Williams brothers Bill, George, and Ira (Lighting) hauling hay. I know they are all rejoicing now. To the Williams family so sorry for your loss.

So very sorry for your loss
