Helen Ruth Crabtree, 71, of Columbia, MO, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, surrounded by family.
A celebration of Helen's life will be held on February 25, 2019, at the Hallsville Community Center( 324 East Highway OO, Hallsville, MO 65255) from 1-6PM.
Helen Ruth Bennett was born on October 27, 1947, in Boone County, MO, the daughter of Edward and Rella (Davis) Bennett. She married Ben Crabtree on October 20, 1973, in Columbia, MO, and he survives.
Helen worked at Kelly Press for many years, and then in the Wal-Mart pharmacy on Conley Road in Columbia, MO.
Helen is adored by her family and will be greatly missed. The marriage that she shared with her husband was a blessed example to her children and future generations. Helen was known for her infectious smile and loving countenance.
Survivors include one brother Donnie (Beverly) Bennett of Columbia, MO, five daughters Tammy Crabtree of Columbia, MO, Christina (John) Walker of Columbia, MO, Angie (John) Hearn of Lynn Haven, FL, Mary (Mike) Brown of Hartsburg, MO, and Tracy (Mark) Nowlin, of Columbia, MO. 16 grandchildren Christopher Nowlin, Randi Chaffin, Tabatha Nowlin, Kyle DePriest, Samantha Brown, Robert Crabtree, Kathryn DePriest, Kody Nowlin, Jordan Reeves, Andrew Nowlin, Andrew Hearn, Aden Walker, Kyle Hearn, Kalen Walker, Kelsey Hearn and Connor Hearn, 13 great-grandchildren, Blake, Masonn, Megan, Luke, Natalie, Aiden, Corbin, Frank, Remington, Audrey, Marshall, Lee and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, brother Kenny Bennett, Sister Leona Nichols, brother Eddie Ray Bennett, sister Edith Evans, and son George Crabtree.
