Harry Woods' Obituary
Harry Woods, 92, of Boonville, formerly of Columbia, Mo., passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Cooper County Memorial hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Russell Chapel CME. Visitation will be from 12-1 Saturday at the church.
Harry Woods Jr. was born on January 13, 1923 the son of Sallie Edwards and Harry Woods Sr,. He worked for many years for United Moving Vans. He married Chalice Gray Woods in May of 1962. He loved fishing, hunting and his two dogs. He treated them like his children. He was also a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, where he was a dedicated member and loved working in St. Luke.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters Betty Okomato and Berniece Lively both of Victorville, Ca.,and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harry was the third child of eleven children.
He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers
