Harold "Stink" Cross' Obituary
Harold Cross, 67, of Columbia, MO passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke United Methodist Church, Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
Harold Jerome Cross was born November 23, 1957, in Columbia, MO, the son of William Charle Hickmon and Goldie Mae Cross. Harold loved to dress up and he loved to watch and play basketball. He was very good with people, and he could mingle and converse with anyone. He loved watching westerns on TV. He would iron his clothes every day. He loved to gamble and shoot the dice. He also loved going to Douglass Park to spend time and shoot the breeze with his friends. When he could no longer go to Douglass Park he would go to the downtown park. He loved Vodka with a water chaser.
He leaves to cherish his memory five children Harold Lee (Tasha) of Columbia, MO, Tia Horan (Robert) of Kansas City, MO, Robyn Lee of Forney, TX, Keith Holmes Jr. of Anna, TX and Kelvona Holmes of Columbia, MO, one sister Lisa Cross of Garland, TX, one brother Lorenzo Lawson (Clemmie) of St. Louis, MO, five grandchildren Champaign Lee, Tayion Martin, Joneiqua Sanders, Makiya Harvey and Amir Starks, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, three brothers, one daughter Heather Harvey and one granddaughter Auntonia Martin.
