A Letter to Mom,
Today, I shed these tears of calmness with a smile. I know my mom's heart isn’t broken no more and is with Grannie; her mom/ best friend. Mom, I want you to know that you mean the entire world to me! I would have been lost without you on many days. These few words which I share today are of the memories of how blessed we are as a family; to have such an amazing person who understood the word love. Mom, I can honestly say that I made you proud of who I have become; I will always be “Little Hannah” in many people’s eyes. Although this is true, I am so much more because of you. I couldn’t have had a better teacher to set the tone for my life as a parent. Thank you mom, for always showing up, never giving up, showing me what it is to be strong. Because of you, my kids have a mother who is strong, loving, warm, caring, compassionate, God fearing and a strong believer in doing whatever it is so my kids won't live their lives without not knowing the pureness of what a mother’s love represents. I will continue to show up for my kids till God says otherwise. Till we meet again, I love you and job well done mom!
