Gerry Wayne Curry's Obituary
Gerry Wayne Curry, 75, of Boonville, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the First Baptist Church at First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Saturday at the church.
Out of respect for Gerry’s vibrant spirit, the family kindly encourages guests to wear colors other than black when attending the service.
Gerry was known as a man of steady character, strong values, and a deep love for his family. He spent his life building relationships, working hard, and investing in those around him.
He is survived by his children: Cindy Lavery; Gordon McDowell (Becky); Ginger Fryberger (Russ); Dee McDowell; Lisa Royal (Joe); and Greg McDowell (Dawn).
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Brandi, Stacie, Amanda, Meghan, Lucas, Samantha, Brittany, Hannah, Megan, Amber, Therra, Chelsea, Aaron, Beverly, Alexis, Jerry, Colton, Adriana, Amarea, Alaina, Christopher, Cameron, Lisa, Brooke, Grace, and Rocky. And many Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Curry, parents William and Genevieve Curry, three sisters Becky Staton, Sharon Catalina and Frances Paxton, brother Garry Curry.
Gerry will be remembered for a life well lived and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
