He played football in his younger years at Missouri Valley College. Then was united by marriage to Amanda Frazee and had three beautiful children.
He definitely was a man of business and wore many hats.
He worked for Union Electric and Missouri State Prison and laid fiber cable for several companies. Also in his free time he enjoyed nature by hunting and fishing, also had a softball team in Huntsville, Missouri. While around the house he loved to cook his famous barbecue, especially the pulled pork and fried fish. Gary had two phrases that he always said: "Don't watch me watch the bear" and "I told you so".
Survived to cherish his memory are his three children, Gary Allen Saunders III, Daphne Jean Saunders of Columbia, Missouri, Robert Allen Saunders of Armstrong, Missouri, parents Gary and Carolyn Sauners of Huntsville, Missouri, sister Marcella Tucker (Leon Tucker) of Raytown, Missouri, niece Leslie Ann Wilson of Lake Worth Beach, Florida, nephew THomas Robinson of Kansas City, Missouri, close friend Diana Moutray and a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
