Katherine,
We were so hurt to learn of Gary leaving so soon. As you said when we talked, a mother should not have to bury a child. One thing among several that I observed about Gary, is that he loved his mother and his family. He was a great son, father and friend.
To the family of Gary Elbert,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May God continue to comfort the family in this time of need.
“May tender memories soften your grief,
May fond recollection bring you relief,
And may you find comfort and peace in the thought
Of the joy that knowing your loved one brought…
For time and space can never divide
Or keep your loved one from your side.
When memory paints in colors true,
the happy hours that belonged to you.” by Helen Steiner Rice

“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.” – Author Unknown
