Frank Burnett's Obituary
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 1PM.
Frank Burnett was born September 30, 1934, in Charleston, Missouri to the union of Fonzy and Tobie Sargent-Burnett. He was the 7th child born to this union.
Frank was proceeded in death by both parents, Fonzy and Tobie Sargent-Burnett, (two sons) Dwight Penny and Derrick Penny, (two brothers) Jimmy Burnett (Bo), Nathaniel Burnett Sr. and (four sisters) Lonnie, Edna, Margie, and Dorothy Keller.
Once Frank got out into the world there was no slowing him down. He was always traveling and visiting family and friends. Frank loved working on cars, he was always there to help relatives and friends with their mechanical problems. Frank was so skilled with car repairs, that he could tell you what was wrong just by listening. He also shared a love for crafting wooden clocks and doll furniture in his spare time.
Frank Burnett transitioned his life at the age of 88, peacefully in the comfort of his own home on November 13, 2022.
Frank is survived by his daughters Renee Jennings, Bridgett Sykes, Zandrea (Squeaky)Williams, all of St. Louis. Eva Sykes-Sharif of New Jersey, and Monette (Moe) Jordan of Columbia. Three sons, Phillip Roberts of St Louis, Maurice Penny and Frank Cortez Burnett-Bonaparte of Columbia. One twin brother Robert “Red” Burnett of Columbia and an honorary daughter Tonya Sykes of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves behind a host of many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
