Frank Bruce's Obituary
Frank Junior Bruce 93, of Boonville, MO passed into eternity on Thursday October 14, 2021 at the University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Open Bible Praise Center in Boonville at 11:00AM. Visitation will be from 9-11AM on Saturday at the church. Reverend James E. Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Boonville Missouri. Services will be live-streamed through Facebook on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM at https://www.facebook.com/htmayfuneralhome.
Frank was born in Boonville MO to Henry Bruce and Myrtle (Thompson) Bruce on August 1, 1928. He married Sadie Christian on February 12,1954 in Bunceton Missouri. To this union seven children were born. He worked at various jobs before starting and running a truck hauling service for 35 years (he was the best Hay Hauler around). He was a member and Deacon of
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Clarks Fork MO. He was a member and secretary of Brotherhood Five (an organization of Deacons and preachers across Central Missouri). He was also in charge of all maintenance of the church.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Myrtle Bruce; siblings, Luella Williams, James Bruce, William Bruce, and son Robert Bruce. Frank is survived by his spouse of 67 years Sadie Bruce of the home, Children, Frankie D Bruce(Dawn) of Corona California, David Bruce(Helen) of Boonville MO, Carl Bruce of Columbia MO, Chequita Hinkle(John), Bradford Bruce(Lisa), Daniel Bruce(Karen) all of Boonville MO. Brother Kenneth Bruce(Becky) of Kansas City MO, Sisters Mildred Shipley (James) of Tipton MO, Helen Fisher of Boonville MO, Cherry Parks(Ezell) of Kansas City MO and sister-in laws Erma Bruce of Grandview MO and Barbara Bruce of Bloomington IL.
Grandchildren Elliott Bruce of Corona CA, Brandon Bruce, Josh Bruce Latoya Bruce and Martez Callaway of Columbia MO, John and Marcus Hinkle of Boonville MO and Isaac Hinkle of Bloomington IL, Shawn Bruce and Michael Bruce of Boonville MO, and Brooklynn Bruce of Independence MO.
Great Grandchildren Le’Asia, Liberti, Raya Bruce, McKenzie Hendrix, and Adriana Bruce, Dre and Kash Callaway of Columbia MO; Sabriel Iliff and Stephen Bruce of Boonville, MO; Trayvon Harris, Jaxson Bruce, Alaia and Makari Brisbon of Independence MO. Rowan Hinkle of Overland Park KS, Zander Bruce of Boonville MO and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
