Frances Kelly's Obituary
Frances Kelly, 91, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Columbia. The visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday at the church.
Frances “Joe” Kelly, 91 of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Boone Hospital Center. She was born February 11, 1931 in Columbia, Missouri to parents Sarah Beatrice Gordon and Raymond Williams. She was united in marriage with James Kelly.
She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Columbia. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1949 and worked at Stephens College for many years. She also provided babysitting services to many, which brought her much joy.
Survivors include her three stepchildren: Danny Henderson (Seohee) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Charlotte Pence of Dayton, Ohio, and Janice Miller-Kelly of Florida, Mike Wilson of Gary, Indiana and cousin but like a sister Ellen Wilson of New York; extended family Linda Harris (Walter), Ann Pruitt (Howard), Mike Douglass (Michelle), Alphonso Gray and Grea Gray of Columbia, Missouri, along with a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Kelly, her parents, both maternal and paternal grandparents, her Aunt Roberta Turpin as well as other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
