Floyd R. Marshall's Obituary
Floyd R. Marshall, 63, of Columbia, MO., answered the call of Jesus on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
Floyd also known as Randy was born April 12th, 1953, to Odessa June Jefferson Marshall of Sedalia, Missouri and Floyd Wills of Marshall Missouri. Survivors include his wife Rae Ann Marshall of Columbia, and his three children Randall Darnell Marshall, Darla Y-vonne McClain & Son-in-Law Brandon McClain, and Lavonda Marshall.
Randy Marshall served some time in the Navy, and completed electrician school in Kansas City Missouri, He married Rae Ann Marshall in 1973. Randy worked as an electrician for over 20 years and had his own business serving the community as an electrician , he also did electrical work for the VA Hospital and for University Hospital. Randy enjoyed the outdoor life, of fishing camping and family gatherings and laughter. He was a man of great knowledge and strength. He was a protector of his family and a God fearing man. He was a dedicated father and husband and provided for his family the things that were needed. Randy had many friends and family that loved him and enjoyed talking to him he could keep any conversation going, he would help anyone who needed it. Floyd Randall Marshall was so loved and he will be missed.
Floyd is also survived by grandchildren: Cassandra Marshall, Marqueze Marshall, Donzell Marshall, Ezekiel Marshall, Odessa Marshall, Brittany Brandt & Taron Brandt, Adam McClain, Kenessa Marshall, Aymberia Marshall, and Nijha Marshall; great-grandchildren: Julian ray Brandt, and Johnathan Marshall; siblings: Kay Tucker, Janet Christian, and Debbie Mctye; nieces and nephews: Karum Marshall, Lavelle Jefferson, Lacresha Tucker, and many cousins , aunts , uncles and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by parents Odessa June Jefferson, and Floyd Wills, siblings: Doris Marshall, Kenneth Marshall, and Larry Wills, and Niece Satina Wills.
