Floyd Ray Harrison, 89, of Fulton, MO, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 10, 2024. Born on July 3, 1934, in Mexico, MO, Floyd was the cherished son of Charles Floyd and Frankie Marie Mayes Harrison.
Floyd was a passionate bowler, known for his skill and love for the game. In his spare time, he found joy in watching Hallmark movies and doting on his three beloved miniature Schnauzers. Floyd's soft-hearted nature endeared him to all who knew him.
On July 9, 1954, in Cedar City, MO, Floyd married the love of his life, Mary Sue (Susie) Wallace. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and companionship.
Floyd leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his children, Floyd Harrison Jr. (Michelle) of Fulton, MO, Jerri Baise (Eddie) of Fulton, MO, Terri Daro (Chris) of Fulton, MO, and Rita Cornett (Chris) of Scottsboro, AL. He is also survived by his siblings, Carolyn Burkes of Columbia, MO, and Price Harrison (Gladys) of Fulton, MO, his sister-in-law, Kathryn Gregory (Clinton) of Caruthersville, MO, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Frankie Harrison, his wife Mary Harrison two brothers, Jerome Harrison and Robert Harrison, his sister-in-law, Betty McAtee, his brother-in-law, Bill McAtee, and his niece Paula Sue Lear and her husband Bill Lear.
Floyd's warm heart, love for his family, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
