I meet Florence many years ago at TWA, where we were both employed. We even carpooled on occasions. I allowed her to practice on my hair when she was attending Beauty School. I rode with her when she was first learning to drive. I haven’t seen Florence in many years but was aware of what she was doing thorough mutual friends. I extend my condolences to her family, friends and loved ones. Sometimes we meet someone in our lives that we always remember no matter how long, and for me, Florence was that Lady. The world will be less brighter without her. I pray for all whose hearts are hurting, but be comforted knowing that on the other side of the river there is a band of angels rejoicing and saying “welcome home Florence, welcome home” may God Bless and keep you all.
