Flora Mae Brown's Obituary
Flora Mae Brown, 88, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services and burial will be private.
Flora Mae Brown was born July 5, 1933, in Fancyfarm, KY, the daughter of Grover Nathaniel Lee and Bertha Hargrove Lee. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She married James Edward Brown in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She retired after a number of years from Regional Hospital. Flora loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She loved gambling and spending time playing poker. One of her favorite pastimes was spending time fishing and enjoying nature. One of her favorite musicians was George Jones. She loved the song Go rest high on that mountain by Vince Gill.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Gary Lee Brown (Gretchen) of Columbia, MO, two sister in laws and two brother in laws, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents , three brothers and four sisters.
