Everette Banks' Obituary
Everette Banks, 74, of Marshall, MO entered into eternity on Saturday August 18, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 25, 2012 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Saturday at the church.
Everette Banks was the first born of seven children to Phillice Wright and Cecil Banks on December 9, 1937 in Slater, MO. He joined St. Paul Baptist Church at an early age.
He was educated in the public school system, upon graduation from Slater High School in 1955; he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for six years. He met and married his wife Mary in 1966.
He was in business for himself starting his own cleaning company, E&M Building Maintenance, in the 1960’s, which was still in operation until his death.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters, Gwendolyn Fuller and Doris Allen, and one brother, Robert C. Banks.
To cherish his precious memories is his loving wife of 47 years Mary of the home, one step son Robert Conway (Mary) of Kansas City, MO; two step grandchildren, Kevin Conway of Olympia Fields, IL, and Dana Kindle (Wayne) of Lees Summit, MO, and three step great grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Wanda King of Kansas City, MO; Madeline Smith of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Robert W. Banks (Christine), Eugene Maupin Jr. (Edna) both of Kansas City, KS, and Rowland Maupin of Las Vegas, NV. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
