Erma Buckner, 96, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Thursday, Jully 18, 2024, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Crown Hill Cemetery. Our beloved mother, Erma Josephine Buckner passed away peacefully on Thursday July 18, 2024, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri She was born December 13, 1927, in Windsor, Missouri to Eual and Mabel Richardson.
She is preceded in death in death by her sister Dorothy Gilbert, and two sons, Norvell Richardson and Eual T. Buckner.
Surviving children include Linda Kaiser (Kelly) of Des Moines, Iowa, Nardica Buckner of Leachville, Arkansas, Terry Buckner (Brenda) of Sedalia, Mo., Quinidean King and Kelly Buckner both of Sedalia, her niece, Benola (John) Warder of Sedalia, a nephew Jerry (Kim) Foster of Detroit Michigan and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a God-given friend Shannon McCowan.
Mother Erma had a beautiful voice, she sang in the choir and played the piano for many years. She was a beloved Mother of Bums Chapel Free Will Baptist church motherboard.
Her hobbies and love was to work puzzles, read novels, watch westerns and even took up some painting.
Loved by many countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
