Engrid Leyonda Mearidy's Obituary
Engrid Mearidy, 36, of Columbia, slept into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018, at 1pm at HT May & Son Funeral Home in Columbia. The visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.
Engrid Leyonda Mearidy passed peacefully from this life on the morning of September 26, 2018 at University Missouri Hospital after a long battle with failing health. She was supported and surrounded with her family and care givers till God took her home.
Engrid was born in Hammond, Louisiana on November 14, 1981 to Michelle Mearidy and Willy Walls. Engrid grew up in Columbia Missouri with her mom and sister Shakameron, she attended Hickman high and worked many years at the University of Missouri to support for her children.
Engrid has 3 sons to whom she loved very much and leaves to morn her passing, Kameron Mearidy 14, J'Den Mearidy 10, Jah'Metrius Mearidy 7. She also leaves her devoted Mother Michelle Mearidy of Columbia Missouri, Sister Sha-kameron Tremaine Mearidy of Columbia, Cousin Sean Mearidy also of Columbia, hers neices Mahogany Dorshelle Patterson 8, Asia Le Yonda Patterson 6, and nephew Lafayette Jeffery Patterson 4.
Engrid was proceeded in death by her Maternal Grandmother Annie B Mearidy, Uncle Demetrius Mearidy, Uncle Clarence James Fultz, Cousin De'Metria "Precious" Mearidy, and God Mother Judy Denise Barksdale.
