Elizabeth Sue Moore's Obituary
Elizabeth Sue Moore, 93, of Fayette, MO. Passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Golden Living Nursing home in Glasgow. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 12 PM at Faith Family Church in Fayette. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM at the church.
Elizabeth Sue Graves Moore was born June 8, 1924 to Florence Ann Jones and Leonard Graves in Fayette, Mo. She attended Lincoln Public School in Fayette, Mo.
On July 3, 1944, she married William Owen Moore of Armstrong, Mo. They made their home in Fayette, Mo, where they raised 12 children
She worked briefly outside the home at Shields Nursing Home. She would often iron for other people, but of course most of her time was dedicated to raising her children and grandchildren.
She joined Holy Ground Christian Tabernacle under the leadership of Elder R.C. Paige and later Pastor Denise V. Johnson.(God daughter)
She leaves to mourn, James N. Graves of Phoenix AZ, Sharlon Stemmons, Phoenix AZ, Billie Sue Gaines of Fayette, MO, Larry David Moore(Sheila) of Slater, MO, Katherine Falls(Bobbie)of Marshall, MO, Linda K. Hockaday, Ferguson, MO, Samuel W. Moore, Slater, MO, Donna Wells, Columbia, MO, Sandra Enyard(Jeff) Glasgow, MO, Gloria Johnson, Fayette, MO, 37 Grandchildren, over 100 great and great great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Those who went before her husband William Owen Moore, Grandson Anthony Cravens, one step son, James O. Moore, one daughter, Florence Ann Hill, two Grandsons: Melvin Cravens Jr and Bobbie Leon Johnson, her parents, and her Siblings.
