Edgar Wayne Huffman's Obituary
On October 5th, 2025, I lost my Daddy and best friend. Where everyone knows of Eddie's wittiness and orneriness, he also had a deep love for his family and soon-to-be great grandchild. He also left behind the love of his life, Connie Bultmann-Huffman.
Eddie was born on January 29, 1961, in Boonville, Missouri. He was known for his skilled auto body work throughout the years and his passion for music—especially his guitars. He also had a great love for animals, particularly his dogs, Buddy and Tico.
He adored his grandchildren, Skyler (Dylon) and Hunter, and never missed a ball game from their grade school days through high school graduation. Family was everything to him, and he showed it every chance he could.
Eddie leaves behind his significant other, Connie Bultmann-Huffman; his daughter, Jessica Huffman-Shuffield; his sister, Becky Huffman; his grandchildren; and a soon-to-be-born great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Phoebe Huffman; his brothers, Larry and Ronnie Huffman; and his sister, Linda Doyle.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 22, 2025 at 5:00 PM, at The Eagles Lodge in Boonville. There will be a chili dinner, a silent auction, and music played by his band—a perfect tribute to a man who loved music, laughter, and good company.
