Eddie Mae Wright was a member of United Community Church and Wright Temple of Columbia, Mo. She was a woman of courage and power, with a heart as big as the sea is wide. If you were in need of a good hot meal, Ms. Eddie’s house was the place to be, and she didnt take no for an answer. She enjoyed going out to eat and smoking her cigarettes while drinking coffee. Making home-made quilts was her passion. Not to mention being the best babysitter of all times. It was never a problem for her to keep your kids, even if that meant her cutting the feet out of tight pajamas, no job was too big or small. For all of you who were blessed with her presence knew that she was a no-nonsense woman, but always knew how to make you feel that you can do anything, and the jokes never stopped, especially the moth ball joke!
